Great Southern Hotel Perth

1) Good breakfast, clean modern room, convenient secure parking

1) Thin walls, poor sound insulation, unprofessional staff interactions

this was a very lovely stay for a night. the staff were ready to help all the time. good-sized units in the pictures before, we appreciated it. everything was simply modern.

everything was really good during 1 day, greatly enjoyed its excellent and fab location close to maccas the other direction, the airport, food and train station, and northbridge walking distance to the heart of perth cbd. we were given newly remodelled, nicely furnished room with bathtub.

Staying at Great Southern was a delight! The location is superb, just a short walk to the city and near a bus stop. The room was a spacious Superior Queen with all modern amenities, including a microwave, fridge, and even a tv. You can't beat the value!

Slight noise issues.

The Breakfast in the Cafe was fantastic and priced very well and excellent food, freshly cooked. Perfect. Clean room.

No balcony. The phone in my room could not ring front desk, not happy about that. I was told when I got to the property that my room was not going to be serviced.

The location, proximity to the city and transport hub and the cosmopolitan area of Northbridge

The sound proofing between rooms and the room had no window to the outside

I had a mostly pleasant stay with a spacious room and comfy beds, although the restaurant could have been cleaner.

The breakfast with affordable rate and very very good value is low cost and good hot for what is offered. Make sure you stay in the standard twin room with a queen superior bedroom, ample tea, for example.

Its located in the chinatown and shops area available around it... The location is not loacted in the main road. Breakfast served is continental which is good..Really enjoyed the breakfast.

Its about 10 to 15 minutes walk to the city center.

Room features included a microwave, fridge, and tv. The spacious Superior Queen room allowed ample space to relax after a long day.

The noise from nearby generators made for a restless night despite using earplugs. The bathroom did not meet expectations since a requested bath was not accommodated, leading to disappointment. Unfortunate issues with the smart TV not connecting to the internet and visibility issues with neighboring balconies added to the frustrations.

The carpets are a little threadbare, but I suppose that's the charm? Not to mention, my kettle was uncleaned, just absurd. I also expected complimentary cutlery for room dining, but guess they don't care about guest comfort. Of course, I almost gave them a good review, but just couldn't. So disappointing.

No window in my room and the walls were so thin I could here my neighbour brushing his teeth!!!

I liked the fact that we got to the hotel in the early hours and nothing was to much for the man at reception who said we could check out late and the lady when we checked out in the morning who could'nt do enough for us with brilliant directions to mindarie,great lady.

the location is excellent for city style leisure and entertainment

the exhaust fans are always dusty had a rattlely air conditioner, squeaky doors and the safes don't work and if you go through the wrong door yopu can't find your way out. my girfriend got locked in the fire exit and noone answered the emergency phone. she was quite frightened and could not find a way out. and the car park is a long way from from reception and you can't use the doors.

this hotel is centrally placed for an overnight stay when out for the evening in Northbridge and not wanting to drive. Well priced for just needing a place to rest your weary head for a few hours.
